Act I Suite,
Duke Orsino's Apartment

If you enjoy a dark rich red and dark green window treatments this room is for you! Hung with English brass plates, brass candlesticks and a lovely old desk with a silver teapot lamp, this room should make you feel at ease. A Queen Sleigh queen bed for comfort and a cozy little
fireplace. It is a many windowed room with a view over our landscaped garden. The separate sitting room is a bright yellow and boasts an old Kilim rug and a brass table from India, as well as a TV with cable. Private bath with claw foot bathtub and shower. Also the bedroom has a private door leading out onto a sizeable balcony where you can enjoy a nice view of the area. View the Suite
Act II Suite,
Illyrian Sea Coast$99-119
Featuring an antique queen bed, set in a nautical theme. John really loves the sea and sailing so the decor has that sea coast feel (Illyrian Sea Coast remember?!) with framed seaman's knots, a Japanese Wave print and a mirror port hole! A small but pleasant sitting room adjoins the bedroom and has a TV with cable, a small sofa, 2 comfy rattan chairs and 3 windows with a front view over the front door and flower beds.

Act III,
Olivia's Garden Room$89-99
Those who like soft greens will feel drawn to this room! The garden feel is in all the details with prints of Ann Hathaway's cottage, robins and trees. A small corner desk overlooks our landscaped garden with its 3 ponds and a waterfall. The antique Eastlake bedroom set has 2 dressers and a queen bed. Light and airy, with a special 'green' feel! Private bath with shower.
No this is NOT Twelfth Night, but a great old Photo of Juliette's Parents in their hotel outside Bath in the 1950's, ready for a wedding reception
DIRECTIONS to 402 East Beverley Street: From Exit 222 off I-81 follow the signs for the Woodrow Wilson Birthplace. Turn right onto Hwy 250 West at Exit 222 which deadends onto Greenville Ave in 1.9 miles.Turn right under railway bridge, get in center lane, and come up Coalter Street hill 2 blocks, then turn right at light on to Beverley street, continue 1 1/2 blocks around the curve to 402 on the right. Look for our British and US flags. and four pillars.
Offstreet parking is available to the left side of the Inn, just off our driveway.
DISTANCES: 35 minutes from Charlottesville, 2 1/2 hours to Washington DC, 4 - 4 1/2 hours from Charlotte, NC and 5 1/2 hours from Asheville, NC.

Rates: $89-129, including a full breakfast on weekends and an extended Continental breakfast during the week, when our rates are lower, plus state and local taxes.

CHILDREN AND PETS WELCOME with well behaved parents!
Smoking permitted outside on our balcony and patios.
Children or extra people: $25 per person more per night.
Check-in: 3pm to 7pm, or by special arrangement; checkout at 11am.
PETS: are $15 per night extra for one dog and $20 per night for 2 or more dogs. This is a great place for dogs as our garden opens out onto playing fields below so you can just walk down to give them a good place to run. Just so you know, we do have 3 cats - Lear and Portia, and Puck.
No other special facilities available, so please bring your pet's sleeping mat or blanket. Pets must go out with owners and not be left in our rooms.
Note: Best rooms for families are either Act I Suite, with a double sofa bed or Act II Suite with a comfortable sofa chair which makes into a full single bed.
